Synopsis: Bomman (Vikram Prabhu) makes a living renting his elephant Manikkam for temple functions and marriages. Because of a medical emergency in a mahout's family, he takes up the job of keeping a wild tusker out of a village nestled deep in the forests. 

Though Manickam is not a kumki (elephant used to train or drive away wild elephants), they stay on after Bomman falls in love with the village chieftain's daughter Alli (Lakshmi Menon). But there is a heavy price to pay.

Kumki Movie Review: M M A Chinappa Devar was a pioneer in using animals in his films, and tasted success in both the Hindi and Tamil industries with movies such as Haathi Mere Saathi, Maa and Nalla Neram. Producer-director Rama Narayanan followed in his footsteps, though he was not as successful. Sadly, films featuring animals have now become very rare, the last being Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai that was released in 2010.

"సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లో సిరిమల్లె చెట్టు" ఒట్టేయకుండా  చెబుతున్నా...ఇప్పుడందరూ మాట్లుడుకునేది ఈ చెట్టు గురించే...చాలా కాలం తరువాత ఒక మల్టీస్టారర్ సినిమా నిండు తెలుగుదనం తో సంక్రాంతికి సందడి చేయబోతుంది. ఇద్దరు హీరోలు వెంకటేష్ ,  మహేష్ బాబు విపరీతమయిన మహిలాభిమానులు కలవారే....సో ఈ టైటిల్ సరిగ్గా సరిపోయింది...అలాగే దిల్ తో పాటు టేస్ట్ ఉన్న నిర్మాత..."దిల్" రాజు, కొత్త బంగారులోకాన్ని కనుగొన్న శ్రీకాంత్ అడ్డాల సారధ్యంలో వస్తున్న సినిమా...

ఈ సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లోని స్వరాలూ గురించి..నాలుగు తీయని మాటలు...ఈ చిత్రానికి స్వరకల్పన చేసింది మిక్కి జే మేయర్. మిక్కికి  ఈ చిత్రం...ఒక సవాలు...ఒక పెద్ద పరీక్ష కూడా  ....

ఎప్పుడో  నాలుగు నెలల క్రితం బయటకి వచ్చిన ఈ పాటలోని ఈ చిన్న ముక్క ఇంకా అందరి నోళ్ళలో నానుతుంది అంటే అర్ధం చేసుకోవచ్చు...ఈ స్వరం ఎంత పెద్ద హిట్టో ! ఈ సినిమా టైటిల్ ని పది కాలాల పాటు గుర్తుకుతెచ్చే పాట.

ఇంత అందంగా పాడింది, సీనియర్ గాయని చిత్ర గారు. అనంత శ్రీరాం రచన చిన్న చిన్న పదాలతో కూడా చక్కగా ఉంది. వింటుంటే పెళ్లి పాటలా ఉంది...సినిమాలో సీతగా చేసింది అంజలి  కాబట్టి..బహుసా పెద్దోడు(వెంకటేష్) పెళ్ళిలో పాటేమో!!

ఆరడుగులుంటాడా ...ఏడు అడుగులేస్తాడా ..ఏమడిగినా ఇచ్చేవాడా! ఆశ పెడుతుంటాడా ..ఆట పడుతుంటాడా ..అందరికి నచ్చేసే వాడా...!!

ఆరడుగులుండి అందరికి నచ్చేసే హీరో ఎవరయ్యి ఉంటారబ్బా?నాకు తెలిసి "ఒక్కడే". అదేనండి  మన "ఒక్కడు" హీరో మహేష్. " నువ్వేమాయ చేసావో కానీ "...లేక "ఎన్నాళ్ళకి గుర్తోచ్చానే వాన" లా ఫిమేల్ సోలో పాటల్లో చాలా కాలం గుర్తుండిపోయే ఈ పాటను పాడింది కళ్యాణి. అమ్మో అనంత శ్రీరాం...చాలా పెద్ద లిస్టే తయారు చేసాడు అమ్మాయిల ఊహల రాకుమారుడి గురించి..."మాటల ఇటుకలతో గుండెల్లో కోటలు  కట్టాలి.. అడిగిన వెంటనే అలవోకగా మొయ్యాలి, అలవాటుగా అందాన్ని పొగడాలి, అలిగితే అందంగా బతిమాడాలి". సో ఈ పాటని ఫాలో అయితే అమ్మాయిలు పడిపోవటం సింపులు..!!

ఓహో ఓ అబ్బాయి..నీకై ఓ అమ్మాయి ఉంటుందోయ్  వెతుక్కోమని అన్నారే ..ఇందర్లో ఇలాగే..అయినా నేనీ జాడే వెతుక్కుంటూ ఒచ్చానే.. 

అనంత శ్రీరాం రాసిన ఈ పాట లో భలే గమ్మత్తైన విషయాలు ఉన్నాయ్..."వెతికే పనిలో అబ్బాయిలు ఉంటే ...పాపం ఎదురుచూపై అమ్మాయిలు ఉంటారంట.." "సరే అమ్మాయి పుట్టిందే అబ్బాయి కోసమైతే మరి కలవడం కోసం  ఇరవయ్యేళ్ళు ఎందుకు? అంటే "ఒకరికొకరం నచ్చేలా మారడం కోసం" సూపర్ గా చెప్పారు..చివర్లో అబ్బాయిలని "మంచోళ్ళు మొండోల్లు " అంటూ మోసేసారు శ్రీరాం..మీరింకా ఎన్నెన్నో మంచి పాటలు రాసేయాలింకా... అలాగే రాహుల్ నంబియార్, శ్వేతా పండిట్ కూడా ఇంకా ఎన్నెన్నో పాటలు పాడేయలింకా!!

మరీ అంతగా మహా చింతగా మొహం ముడుచుకోకలా ...

ఈ సారి సీతారామ శాస్త్రి గారి వంతు. చిరునవ్వు గురించి రాయమంటే ఆయన ఊరుకుంటారా ...చించి అవతల రాసేసారు ..."ఎండలను దండిస్తామ..వానలను నిందిస్తామా ..మరి సాటి మనుషులతో మనకెందుకు పేచీ,సర్డుకుపోఎదానికి" "అలాగే చిరునవ్వుల కోసం చెమటలు చిందించాలా?,శ్రమ పడి  ఎమన్నా పండించాలా?" "సుఖ శాంతుల కోసం కండలను కరిగించాలా , కొండలను కదిలించాలా, చచ్చి చెడి సాదించాలా ?" "మనుషలనిపించే ఋజువు , మమతలను పెంచే ఋతువు, మనసులను తెరిచే హితవు, వందేల్లయినా వాడని చిరునవ్వు" అంటూ చిరునవ్వుకున్న చీరాయువు గురించి చక్కగా చెప్పారు. ఇండియన్ ఐడల్ శ్రీరామా చంద్ర పాడాడు ఈ పాట .

వాన చినుకులు ఇట్టా తడిపితే ఎట్టాగా ఆగుతుంది వయసే !!

ఈ ట్యూన్ వినగానే ఎక్కువ మందికి గుర్తొచ్చే పాట "ప్రేమంటే ఇదేరా" లో "నైజాం బాబులు...నాటు బాంబులు " పాట. కొత్త గా లేక పోయినా హుషారైన పాట. బహుసా వెంకటేష్ అంజలిల యుగళ గీతం అయ్యుండొచ్చు. కార్తీక్ అంజనసౌమ్య ఆలపించారు. కేరళ లో  తీస్తునారనుకుంటా. సో జలపాతాలు..వాన చినుకులు పుష్కలంగా ఉంటాయి .

మేఘాల్లో సన్నాయి రాగం మోగింది...

పాటలో  చెప్పినట్టు ఓ అచ్చ తెలుగు పెళ్లి పాట . బహుసా సినిమాలో హీరోల చెల్లి పెళ్లి కి సంభందించిన పాట .పెళ్లి కంటే కూడా పెళ్లి పనులకు సంబందించిన చిన్న పాట. పెళ్లి చేసుకునే వారు బిడియం తో తల వంచుకుంటే ...పెళ్లి చేసే వారు పని ఒత్తిడి తో శిరసు వంచుతారంట .సీతారామశాస్త్రి గారి సాహిత్యాన్ని కార్తీక్, శ్రీరామాచంద్రలు...అన్నదమ్ములై ఈ పాట పాడారు.

ఎం చేద్దాం...

శాస్త్రి గారికి ఇంట్రడక్షన్ పాట ఇస్తే మాత్రం చమ్మక్కులు లేకుండా రాసేస్తారా..."ఆకాశం విరిగినట్టుగా...కూడనిదేదో జరిగినట్టుగా...కిం కర్తవ్యమ్ అని కలవార పాడడం కొందరి తరహ" కాని "అవకాశం చూసుకుంటూ..ఆటంకాలు ఒడుపు గా దాటుకుంటూ వాటంగా దూసుకు పోవడం మన హీరోల తరహ అని చెప్పే పాట. మళ్లీ  కార్తీక్, శ్రీరామాచంద్రలు ఇద్దరు ఈ పాటకి హీరోలు.

మొత్తం గా చూస్తె అద్బుతమైన పాటలు. సంగీతం తో సాహిత్యం సహవాసం చేసిన సుమధుర గీతాల సమాహారం ఈ సిరిమల్లె చెట్టు. పాటలకి తగ్గట్టు కథలో కూడా తెలుగుతనం ..కొత్తదనం ఉంటె..ఈ సంక్రాంతికి సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లో రికార్డుల ముగ్గు వేయడం కాయం. అప్పటిదాక మనం "ఎం చేద్దాం", ఎంచక్కా క్రిస్మస్  అండ్ న్యూ ఇయర్ జరుపుకుందాం...!!

Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Review

"వేదం" "గమ్యం" లాంటి సెన్సిబుల్  చిత్రాలు తీసిన క్రిష్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన మూడవ సినిమా "కృష్ణం వందే జగద్గురుం".లీడర్ తరువాత తడబడుతూ ఉన్న రానా బాబుకి చావో రేవో లాంటిదీ సినిమా. 

క్లుప్తంగా కథ : బళ్ళారి లో జరుగుతున్న ఇసుక మాఫియా చుట్టూ అల్లుకున్న కథ ఇది . తన తాత(కోట) చివరి కోరిక మేరకు బళ్ళారి నాటకోత్సవాలలో  "కృష్ణం వందే జగద్గురుం" అనే నాటకం వేద్దామని వచ్చిన బీటెక్ బాబుకి, ఈ ఇసుక మాఫియా కూపీ లాగేందుకు వచ్చిన జర్నలిస్ట్ దేవకి కి మధ్య నడిచే ప్రేమాయణం...వారికి ఇసుక మాఫియాకి జరిగే సంఘర్షణే "కృష్ణం వందే జగద్గురుం".

ఎవరెవరు ఎలా చేసారు....?

నాటకాల్లో చెప్పే భారి పద్యాలతో మొదటి రెండు సీన్లలోనే ఆకట్టుకోడం మొదలెట్టాడు రాణా. లీడర్ తరువాత ఏ మూవీ లోనూ అలరించని రానా, ఈ  "కృష్ణం" లో మాత్రం  వాడుకున్నోల్లకి వాడుకున్నంత అన్నట్లు సూపర్ గా "రాణిం"చాడు. తన బాడి లాంగ్వేజ్ కి తగ్గట్టు డైలాగులు, తన బాడికి తగ్గట్టు ఫైట్లు ఎక్కువ ఉండటం తో రానా లో తడబాటే కనిపించలేదు. సో తను "వన్ ఫిలిం వండర్" కాదని ఋజువు చేసాడు.

శ్రీరామరాజ్యం తన ఆఖరి సినిమా అన్న నయనతార, ఇంకా తన అభిమానులకి చాలా బాకీ ఉందేమో...అందుకే దేవ"కి" లా వచ్చి రసజ్ఞుల హృదయాల "కీ" తెరిచింది. రానా బాబుకి తగ్గ హైటు, పర్సనాలిటి ఉండడంతో, ఇద్దరి జోడి చాలా బాగుంది.

హిందీ నటుడు మిలింద్ గునాజి ఇసుక మాఫియా డాన్ గా ఒకే అనిపించాడు. అతిగా మాట్లాడే టాక్సీ డ్రైవర్  టిప్పుసుల్తాన్  గా పోసాని ఆ అతి మాటలతో కాసేపు నవ్వించాడు. "రంపం" రంగస్థల పండిట్ గా బ్రాహ్మి ఓకే. చాల రోజుల తరువాత అన్నపూర్ణని తెర మీద చూసాం. మిగిలిన రోల్స్ లో ఎల్బి శ్రీరాం,రఘుబాబు , హేమ, సత్యం రాజేష్ బాగా చేసారు.

సమీర రెడ్డి, వెంకటేష్ మీద తీసిన ఐటెం బానే పేలింది. 

మాఫియ కథ...మానవత్వం కథ...

మూవీ లో చూపించిన ఇసుక మాఫియా, మన కళ్ళ ముందు కూడా జరుగుతూ ఉండడం తో ఇంకా కనెక్టివిటీ ఎక్కువగా ఉంది. అలా ఎకారాలకి ఎకరాలు ఇసుకై పోతుంటే వామ్మో అనిపిస్తుంది. తను అనుకున్న నేపధ్యంని సిన్మా పేర్లు పడుతున్నపుడే చూపించి...ఒక్కొక్కరిగా పాత్రల్ని ఆ మెయిన్ ట్రాక్ లో కలపడం క్రిష్ ప్రత్యేకత.మరీ వేదం లో ఉన్నట్లు గుండెల్ని పిండే డైలాగులు కాకపోయినా, 'మానవత్వం, మనిషికి మనిషి సాయం'  అనే విషయాలని హైలైట్ చేస్తూ రాసిన  డైలాగులు బాగున్నాయి.నాటకాలకి సంభందించిన సీన్లు అలరిస్తూ వాటి ప్రాముఖ్యతని తెలుపుతాయి. నాటకాలు వేసే వారి స్థితి ఎంత దయనీయంగా ఉందొ అని బాద కూడా వేస్తుంది.

మణిశర్మ అందించిన పాటలు అన్ని స్క్రీన్ మీద సూపర్బ్. ముఖ్యంగా "జరుగుతున్నది జగన్నాటకం" అనే థీమ్ సాంగ్, ఆసాంతం వచ్చే బ్యాక్ గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ సినిమాకి వెన్నముక్క లాంటిది. జ్ఞానశేఖర్ సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బాగుంది. ఫైట్స్ బాగున్న...గ్రాఫిక్ వర్క్ ఇంకా బాగా చెయ్యాల్సింది...కొన్ని సీన్లు ఆర్టిఫిషియల్ గా ఉన్నాయి. 

బాగా లేని విషయాలు..

క్రిష్ సినిమా అనగానే...గమ్యం, వేదం లా హృదయానికి హత్తుకునే అంశాలు ఎక్కువ ఉంటాయి అని థియేటర్ లకి వచ్చే వారు ఎక్కువ మంది ఉంటారు. కాని కమర్షియల్ ముసుగు లో వాటిని బాగా తగ్గించి ఈ సినిమాని ఒక సాదారణ సినిమా గా మార్చాడు క్రిష్. ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ వరకు ఉన్న టెంపో సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో కొంచెం కొరవడింది . 

ఒక జైలు సీన్లో ఒక బండ విలన్ "హీరో" ని ఉద్దేశించి .."వీడు మనలాంటోడే ...కాని వీడికి క్లారిటీ లేదు" అంటాడు . సరిగ్గా డైరెక్టర్ పరిస్థితి కూడా అంతే అయ్యింది సెకండ్ హాఫ్ లో...

హీరో పాత్రకి,విలన్ పాత్రకి ఉన్న వ్యక్తిగత కక్షని కథలో ఇరికించడం ఒకందుకు బాగున్నా, పాత సినిమాల్లో లాగా విలన్ కి ఒక వాంప్ సాంగ్, రొటీన్ క్లైమాక్స్ ఫైట్ తో సినిమా ముగించడం వల్ల, ఇది అంతకు ముందు మనల్ని అలరించిన క్రిష్ సినిమాలా లేదు.

చివరగా...

క్రిష్ అంతకు ముందు తీసిన సినిమా లా ఉంటుంది అని ఆశపడ్డవారికి ఒక 50-60% మాత్రమె నచ్చుతుందేమో. కమర్షియల్ కథా వస్తువు, రానా-నయనతారల కెమిస్ట్రీ, మంచి పాటలు, ఆకట్టుకొనే కొన్ని సీన్లు "కృష్ణం వందే జగద్గురుం" కి ప్లస్ పాయింట్స్ . అబ్బో సూపర్ అనే సినిమా కాదు కాని...పర్లేదు బాగుంది  అనుకునే సినిమా..

Thuppakki is one of the most awaited of films for Vijay fans, written and directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Kalipuli S Thanu under the banner name of V. Creations.

Vijay plays as an encounter specialist and Kajal Agarwal plays as Nisha. Akshara Gowda is to play the second female lead. While Jayaram, Sathyan, and Gautham Kurup are casted in important roles. Bollywood actor Vidyut Jamwal, who is currently working with Ajith in Billa 2, is donning the negative role.

As a change of sorts, Director AR Murugadoss is all set to make a cameo appearance in the movie!

Award winning Cinematographer Santhosh Sivan handles the cinematography while A. Sreekar Prasad is doing the Editing. Background score and soundtrack are from the talented hands of Harris Jayaraj. After a long time, Vijay croons a song for this film!

మంచు విష్ణువర్ధన్ బాబు హీరో గా నటించిన "దేనికైనా రెడీ " అంతో ఇంతో బాక్సాఫీస్ దగ్గర హడావడి చేస్తుంది. మోహన్ బాబు నిర్మాత గా కామెడి సినిమాల దర్శకుడు జి.నాగేశ్వర రెడ్డి దర్సకత్వం వహించిన ఈ సినిమా ఎలా ఉందొ ఓ సారి లుక్కేద్దాం...

కథ : నరసింహనాయుడు(ప్రభు) చెల్లెలు (సీత) , భాషా అనే ముస్లిం ని పెళ్లి చేసుకుంటుంది . అప్పుడు జరిగిన గొడవల్లో నరసింహనాయుడు,  భాషా కాలు విరగ్గోడతాడు. అప్పటినుంచి ఒక ఇరవై ఏళ్ళ పాటు రెండు కుటుంబాలు ఆస్తి విషయాల కోసం కొట్టుకున్తూనే ఉంటుంది... తన తల్లి కోరిక మేరకు సులేమాన్ (విష్ణు) ఆ రెండు కుటుంబాలని కలపడానికి కృష్ణశాస్త్రి గా నరసింహనాయుడి ఇంట్లో అడుగు పెడతాడు...

ఏంటి ఇంతకీ హీరోయిన్ క్యారెక్టర్ గురించి చెప్పలేదేం అంటారా ...ఇంతోటి రొటీన్ కథ లో హీరోయిన్ కచ్చితంగా హీరో మరదలు అయ్యే ఉంటుంది ...సో ఇక్కడ కూడా అంతే ....

కధనం: హీరో, విడిపోయిన రెండు కుటుంబాలని కలపడం అనేది కథగా చూస్తె పాత చింతకాయ పేస్టు ని   ఫ్రిజ్ లోంచి బయటకి తీసి తాలింపు ఎసినట్టే ఉంది ...సో ఈ చింతకాయ పేస్టు ని తీసుకెళ్ళి (రెడీ , దూకుడు  లాంటి హిట్ చిత్రాలకు స్క్రీన్ ప్లే మాటలు రాసి మాంచి ఫాం లో ఉన్న ) కోన వెంకట్, గోపీమోహన్లకిచ్చి  పులిహార చెయ్యమన్నారు. చికెన్,మటన్ తోనే పులిహార చేయగల సమర్ధులు  వీళ్ళిద్దరూ . చింతకాయ పేస్టు తో పులిహార చేయటం వీరికి నిమ్మకాయ తో పెట్టిన విద్య.

ఆ అదే చెపుతున్నా ...వాడింది పాఆఅత చింతకాయ పచ్చడి అయినా  ....చేసింది పేరున్న వంటవారు కావటం తో పులిహార పులిహార లాగ బాగానే ఉంది.

సినిమా లో ముఖ్యమైన అంశం హీరో ముస్లిమ్లా హిందులా ఎలా మేనేజ్ చేసాడో అనేది. మనం టీవీ సీరియల్ చూస్తుంటే ప్రతి రోజు చివర అర నిమిషం రేపేదో భూకంపం ప్రళయం వస్తుంది అనేలా ముగించడం ..ఆ మరునాడు ఆ అంతా  ఉట్టిదే అని చెప్పడం మామూలే . సో ఇక్కడ కూడా అలాంటి సీన్స్ చాల ఉన్నాయి. సినిమా మొత్తం మీద సూపర్ గా ఏ క్షణం లోను అనిపించదు...అలా అని మరీ బోరు కొట్టించదు...

పాటల్లో మొదటి రెండు బాగున్నాయి. చివరిలో ఒక పారడి పాట పర్లేదు . 

పులిహార సంగతి సరే,మరి విష్ణు బాబు, హన్సిక etc సంగతేంటి ...

పర్వాలేదు ...విష్ణు బాబు ఈ సినిమా కి కొంచెం బ్లడ్ పెట్టాడు. డాన్సులు సూపర్  గా చేసాడు. కామె"డీ" బాగా అలవాటే కాబట్టి చాలా ఈస్సీ గానే చేసేసాడు ...

"రెడి" లోకి ఈ సినిమా లోకి బ్రహ్మానందం పేరు తప్ప పెద్ద మార్పేమీ లేదు. బ్రహ్మానందం పాత్ర లో కొత్తదనం, ఘాటు, మోతాదు బాగా తగ్గడం తో ఓ తెగ నవ్వేసిన సందర్బాలు చాలా తక్కువ .

 ఎమ్మెస్ నారాయణ నుంచి ప్రతి సారి దూకుడుని ఆశిస్తే కష్టం.ధర్మవరపు అండ్ వెన్నెల కిశోరే ఓకే .

Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu (CMGR) Review

It’s been a “Pushkaram” since the duo Puri Jagannath-Pawan Kalyan delivered a sensational “Badri”. Now the duo are back again with “Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu”. This becomes third film this year in Puri’s running spree. There is always a humongous craze surrounding Powerstar’s film irrespective of previous result, but this time it just doubled due to “Gabbar Singh”

Let’s see whether all the hype and expectations meet each other this time!!

Plot: Rambabu is an ordinary human being, but very different in a way he responds to the news in his surroundings. The movie is how this spark in him makes him an “Extraordinary” Journalist that makes a striking impact in society.

Performances:

If there’s a film that is made on Pawanism, I think that film will be called “Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu” from today. Right from the intro, heroism is superbly elevated. He speaks his mind in every scene. Since his ideologies are presented, he is natural in all emotional scenes. There are many scenes that will make fans whistle and clap. That apart, he never missed his entertaining self this time. His enthusiasm in songs will mesmerize his fans while his scenes with Tamanna, Ali and Brahmanandam will sure giggle you. So this is Pawan in full form, No doubts in it.

Milky beauty, hmm Tamannalikes this pet name. She plays the Tomboyish girl, a very self-confident and dashing one. Lucky she, as she is in shirts throughout the film, her hip is covered all through. But fans no need to worry as it is focused on 70 MM on all the songs. She is a treat all over.

PrakashRaj is a blessing in disguise, though he did almost the same role in many Puri’s blockbusters, He again does it so convincingly that you really can’t imagine anyone. Kota proves once again his seniority. Nazar is humble and convincing as CM. Tanikella Bharanimakes his presence felt in crucial scenes.

Ali’s chemistry with Pawan and at the same time his comedy episodes in Puri’s direction gather laugh’s once again with his “Melukolupu” episodes. Brahmanandam adds fuel to the fun.

One song is literally wasted with this Gabriala( Not the item song). Any other heroine in the likes of Taapsi would have been given that role.

Puri Jagannath shows “Extraordinary” Heroism…

Puri Jagannath has such a potential to elevate the hero from an ordinary to “Extra Ordinary”. He writes the racy scenes right from the introduction of Pawan. Soon brings the Prakash Raj into scene and creates right amount of clash between the central characters. There is a tempo maintained to finally show how good wins over bad. Dialogue writer in him has got several punches awakening the society. Pawan’s scenes when interviewing Prakash Raj, His scenes with CM and the pre-climax scene with pawan needs huge applause. He cleverly recreates the current political scenario in the film.

And the funny aspect in him is seen very much, when he vandalizes the media’s headlines when discussing with Brahmi. Ali’s “Melukolupu” episode with black tickets is hilarious. Pawan’s episodes with Tamanna are sweet(especially when he describes girls as ordinary, theatre will have screams for sure).

Manisharma’ssongs are nice on screen. Bhaskarabatla garu gave superb inspirational song “ Tala Dinchuku bratukutaava “ which is placed at very right moment. 

Drawbacks
But other duets should have been pictured still richer to provide the audience more relief. The Second girl is utterly wrong selection. There will lot of shades of Business man in execution. If you expect "Gabbar Singh" kind of lighter vein entertainer, this is not your cup of tea. Heavy violence ( the fight of hijras seems repetitive from Rebel) is one distraction too. A connection to the message and "Pawanism" decides how well a common audience like it.

 Pawan Kalyan Hats Off

A hero of his stature should attempt this kind of movie. The reach of message will be surely multiplied. Puri Jagannath has delivered a meaningful film this time. Very good writing in whole. So a good product from him can be expected in less time. He utilized Pawan’s energy and the expectations on the combination rightly.

Maatran Movie Story Reviews:

Maatran movie starts off with Rettai Kathire song that introduces Siamese twins Akilan and Vimalan played by [Suriya] and Anjali [Kajal Agarwal] too. Akhilan is a champ and curious in studies, Vimalan is a care-free twin. Sachin Khedekar, a researcher cum businessman is the father of conjoined twin [Suirya].

The story continues according the script and Vimalan comes to know that his father is a culprit and costs his life. Rest of the Maatran story takes place in the investigation about Vimalan’s death, which will be handled by Akhilan along with Anjali, who is a Russian translator.

Performances:

Our matinee idol Suriya once again proves he’s director’s actor and especially he made audiences spill out as Akilan. Maatran pays off Suriya’s hardwork as a conjoined twin, for which he has done 2500 takes.

Kajal Agarwal is glamorous as Anjali and grabs viewers’ attention with the cute looks and voice over by Chinmayi has worked big time, especially as a Russian translator on mission.

Sachin Khedekar as a struggling genetic scientist did his parts well.

Technical Analysis:

Coming to the technical assets of Maatran, script by KV Anand and Subha, VFX works by Srinivasa Murthy of Enthiran fame, Suriya’s dialogues and Harris Jayraj tunes.

KV Anand has failed to handle the screenplay, which has lengthy fights and scenes, apart from this the movie looks perfectly engaging.

Cinematographer S Sounder Rajan’s camera works are perfect, as there is no such frame that makes viewers feels Akilan and Vimalan are not conjoined. Srinivasa Murthy and his VFX works need a special mention, as this is the backbone of Maattrraan that is the first Indian movie using Motion Capture technology.

Harris Jayraj’s scores are enjoyable as ever, coming to the background music they have well supported the situations. Especially in some scenes they bring audiences get into script well.

Anthony might have done the fine editing, as though the movie looks engaging has many dragging parts.

Analysis:

KV Anand’s Maatran appears to be the sequel to AR Murugadoss’s 7am Arivu, which deals on saving India from bio-war with China, while Maatran is with Russia.

First half of Maatran is quite appealing apart from a long fight sequence. Maatran has some humorous conversations of Siamese twin Akilan and Vimalan, some romance, emotional scenes in the first half leaving some seeds for the investigation in the second half.

While second half moves from India to Russia, for some wanted investigation by Suriya, who is supported by Kajal Agarwal, a Russian translator. The movie finally ends up in India with a huge fight scene in 3 places.

Final Verdict:

Maatran is an action entertainer by Suriya as Siamese twin laced with humor and action…

Thandavam is an action thriller directed by Deiva Thirumagal fame A. L. Vijay and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. Starring Vikram, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Jagapati Babu & Santhanam, Thandavam is expected to release in September, 2012.

Thandavam is directed by Madrasapattinam and Deivathirumagal fame A. L. Vijay and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala in association with UTV Motion Pictures.

Vikram and Anushka come together with Director A. L. Vijay after Deivathirumagal. Amy Jackson, who was introduced to Indian Cinema in AL Vijay's Madrasapattinam, plays the second female lead in the film. Telugu actor Jagapati Babu plays a pivotal role while Saranya Ponvannan, Thambi Ramaiyah & Santhanam are playing supporting roles.

Vikram is playing Police Officer Shiva and the entire script is said to be about his activities. Amy Jackson is playing the role of Miss America. G Dhananjayan, the southern head of UTV Motion Pictures, says that the film has something new to offer and the lead character was not a type often seen in Tamil Cinema.

Music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar featuring lyrics written by Na. Muthukumar. Thaandavam is the 25th film for G. V. Prakash Kumar. Cinematography is handled by Nirav Shah while Anthony is in charge of Editing.

Shaji and team has tried all possible ways to make the movie a waste. The story could have been told in a much better way. M.G Sreekumar's songs are just ok. After taking Suresh Gopi through a series of similar flops, Shaji Kailas is doing the same thing to the superhero's image. Thandaavam is definitely going to be a forgetable movie in Mohanlal's career. Mohanlal certainly has got a lot of repairing to do in the coming movies.

Thandavam is expected to release for this summer of 2012.

Life is Beautiful Telugu Movie Review

Shekhar Kammula…can I call him “The Rajamouli” of Multiplexes and of course Overseas…Because he never disappoints them in his genre…After a little deviation from his colorful movies with the “Leader”, He’s back to his school with “Life is beautiful” . So three guys and their girls….and then their stories…doesn’t that reminds you his "Happy days". Shekhar very much wants that and he brings a bigger canvas..'”A"nand Nagar Colony' to tell a much bigger story… Let’s go look at them….

Plot: Story revolves around 3 guys…Srinivas, Nagaraju and Abhi and their girls Paddu, Laxmi and Paru(Shriya) respectively. It’s filled with their love….pain…joy and everything that makes their lives beautiful….

Actors…

Actors come first here…All new faces and how good they delivered…..

Sudhakar acted as Nagaraju… He is full of ease in massy role…with nice Telangana accent. Man of heart he is….makes you laugh with his innocence and of course that fetches his love back to him. His perfect timing and ease will definitely make him stand out. His girl Laxmi played by Zara, is sensuous enough in half sarees, suits the role of “Vizag” girl..starts with “andi” and finishes with “raa”

It’s Abhijeet who acted as Srinivas….A wonderful role of responsible bro of two sisters…He starts slowly but soon gets on you…. Definitely made his mark. Shagun Kaur plays paddu….padmavati…hmm heard this name loads of times in movies…generally named after cute “maradals”…so paddu here too is very cute…she gets a good role too.

Then Abhi (Kaushik) very kiddy….reminds you of Tyson in Happy days as he goes behind Paru(Shriya)…He attracts with his on the shot brave acts, his magic and of course confidence..

And We have more dose of glamour in form of good old wines…Shriya and Anjala Javeri…Shriya plays a beauty Diva…She is born of Shekhar's affinity to “Senior-Junior” attachment…But nice to see her in better role than the movies she plays lead. And how come we have forgotten this “Preminchu kundam raa”’s sexy lady….Shekhar still remembers her..Anjala Zaveri has got very nice role of “Madam” and she is very much in the movie protecting the kids…

Finally Amala Akkineni …placed her last as she kind of plays a guest role….But she touches you deeply with the kind of character…should watch out that!! And little girl who plays her younger daughter is wonderful!!

Obviously “Life is Beautiful”….!!

The way Shekhar introduces each character is something that is always fresh… He brings all the guys and girls in one chain sequence…A good start. Within no time, you become member in the colony… you  play in the rain with them…celebrate all the festivals ( just in one song) …. Amused by the romance…smile for their innocence and then feel their pain….fight for their colony ….everything brings out little nostalgia of something that’s missing. And then the role of Mother that runs in background for sure brings out the tears….Scenes depicting the importance of Mother tongue and mother shines...

All the songs are situational and Mickey J Mayor shines again…but could not outshine Happy Days…Poor guy…his director would have demanded for the same music again. Vijay C.Kumar…cinematographer of all Shekhar’s movies makes the movie colorful  

And now back to “Happy Days”…

Time to get into the “Time Machine” ….Whether you like or not …you should go back 5 years, as Shekhar brings not just the flavor….but loads more from his previous film…Like the Senior-Junior, here we have tiff between “B-phase” colony and the “Gold-phase” ..This is fun for a while …but goes little heavier after a while. And you see Tyson-Shravs in Abhi-Paru(Shriya) and our beautiful Madam Anjala reminds you English madam “Kamilini”. Shekhar loves MaheshBabu and that’s proved again…Remember, Happy days was very fresh then…But repetition of the same might reduce the appraisal…Shekhar has so much to tell every time…He once again plunges into interval and the Climax in hurry, when he looks at his clock.

What makes Life Beautiful

LIB has its share of silly things….But still it makes you smile…bring out tears… carry the nostalgia…and finally passes the time pleasantly….Watch it for Shekhar’s magic re-created again with the fresh faces….And the message : It's the challenges in life that makes it beautiful
